A worlds first as Solar Flare erups on Sun, are we safe or is this Armagedon?

Nasa has warned, that we will experience a Super Solar Storm in 2012.



Does this mean we should prepare ourselfs for the worst? Will the 2012 Prophecies come true? Is this the end of the earth as we know it?

Well according to Nasa the Solar Flare, a sudden brightening observed over the Sun surface or the solar limb, which is interpreted as a large energy release, will reach earth and expected to cause some desruptions. Satelites, Power Grids and other devices will be affected!

Few phenoma has stirred the immaginations of solar scientists and now us - as much as the explosive energy of solar flares. Since the days of the Egyptians or perhaps even before that scientists, prophets, journalists have dreamend up this day. Many wrote scientific books, articles
and even novels about these Storms after the first recorded observation of the flare in September 1859. But what does this biggest erruption means for us?
